I have an Intel iMac (20"), running OS 10.4.11 (Tiger). I also tried running Photo Booth from the Guest account. I've restarted the computer, repaired permissions, reset the PRAM, and re-installed Photo Booth from the original disk. "Photo Booth cannot open because the camera is in use by another application." When I try to open Photo Booth, I get the following message:

I don't believe it is listed in System Profiler, though if it was listed as something other than "iSight" I could have missed it. The same problem happens with other applications. When I go to open Photo Booth, I get the camera icon with a slash through it - indicating the camera isn't connected/available. The Macbook is running Leopard, currently.
